It is possible to park in the street (from 20.00 to 8.00 is free), about 300 meters from the house, or, inside the ZTL, in a garage a few steps from the apartment, at a cost of about 25 euros / 24h .
If you arrive by car
The flat is in the heart of Florence, in the restricted traffic zone.
If you are arriving by car, you may enter in this area:
• after 20.00 from Monday to Friday
• after 16.00 on Saturday
• all day on Sunday.
Further, since 1 April you can not enter this area from 23h to 3 a. m. during Friday and Saturday.
You can park the car, at 300 meters away, or inside ZTL there is a garage at the cost of 25 euros / 24h.
A ride around
Near Via Maggio you can have an aperitif in the fantastic Piazza Pitti, 50 meters away, walk along the Lungarno a few meters from the apartment, go shopping in the coolest shops of the city (via Tornabuoni is a 5 minute walk).
At about 700 meters there is the railway station of Santa Maria Novella; along the way you can find the most important antique shops and art galleries.
Finally, if you are fond of flowers and plants, in Oltrarno you will find some of the most beautiful gardens in Florence. the Boboli Gardens, the Garden of Annalena, the Torrigiani Garden; the Bardini Garden; Bobolino and in spring the Garden of Iris (flower symbol of the city) and that of the Roses.
