A court house immersed in the Sardinian countryside, a step away from the sea, with a portion dedicated to guests who are lovers of nature and respect the nature of living the experience of living following an eco-sustainable philosophy.
Lananai has its heart in the large, extremely well-kept garden of rare Mediterranean flowers and plants. A vineyard of cannonau, an olive grove, a citrus grove and an orchard, cultivated according to the principles of organic agriculture, complete the landscape.
THE HOUSE
The area reserved for guests of about 200 square meters, spread over a single ground floor overlooking the courtyard garden. It is equipped with all comforts and enjoys absolute privacy. All furnishings are handcrafted with extreme attention to detail and originality.
Each of the 3 rooms has a private entrance from the courtyard and a private bathroom with toilet and shower. The rooms are organized as follows: a double room with a king-size bed; a second double room with a French bed and a twin room with separate beds which, if necessary, can become a double.
The spacious kitchen-living room is adequately furnished and equipped; It overlooks a large shady loggia, the heart of life in the house, with direct access to the garden. In the loggia there is a table that can host up to eight people, a conversation and relaxation area with deck chairs and a bamboo sitting area.
Outside there is a practical service area with a hot water shower, a tub and a drying rack.
Staying at Lananai you will have access to the entire property. At check-in we will give you the keys to access independently during your stay.
Me and my family have a space in the private garden and we do not invade the privacy of our guests.
Together with us live a large and sociable mongrel dog, Duke; three docile cats, Freeda, Diego and Indio.
For any need during your stay we will be at your disposal.
SERVICES
We put at our guests' disposal some BICYCLES to cycle through the country roads that cross the valley, crossed by the Monte Porceddus stream which, descending from the Sette Fratelli mountains, forms natural pools where it is possible to swim.
For the beach we provide the SEA BEACHES and the UMBRELLAS.
Guests will find the ECOLOGICAL DETERGENTS and the BIO NATURAL SOAPS for cleaning the house, the washing machine, the dishwasher and personal care.
A large wooden platform, shaded and immersed in the Mediterranean, is available, along with the mats, to perform PHYSICAL ACTIVITY free body and, in particular, YOGA and Tai-Chi.
On request we can organize a BREAKFAST and DINNER service with organic and / or local products at km0
Always on request we can organize a cleaning service, bed linen and bathroom change.
ECO-SUSTAINABLE PHILOSOPHY:
• we do not treat the plants and the green lawn with insecticides
• We use only ecological detergents for cleaning the house
• we do not have air conditioning, but fans. The structure is however well insulated by a roof covered with cork, Sardinian tiles and terracotta tiles
• we compost the organic residues that we use to fertilize the earth
• we perform a scrupulous separate collection
• we use energy-saving and LED lamps
• the running water is extracted from a well with a motor activated by a photovoltaic panel
• we perform the phytodepuration of the black / gray water that we reuse to irrigate
• we use solar thermal to heat the water
