Positive: We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Portoconte — truly one of our best holidays, and we hope to return! The location is excellent, with a beautiful sandy beach and a great pool. The water is crystal clear, calm, and shallow — ideal for swimming. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well-renovated, with excellent noise isolation and air conditioning. Housekeeping was exceptional. It's a perfect spot for relaxation: far enough from nightlife to be peaceful, but close enough to Alghero for a short trip out. There were always enough sunbeds and umbrellas available. A small gym would be a nice addition.

Negative: The only downside for us was the food — while the quality was good, it didn’t quite match our personal taste, and we missed having typical Italian classics like pizza. Breakfast was a bit too basic and repetitive for a longer stay. Occasionally there was a mild odor from the bathroom drains, but it wasn’t a major issue.
