These are all three to five kilometres away. It is 20km to Noto, a UNESCO town famous for its baroque, while it is 50km to Siracusa della Magna Greca and the harbour, as are Ragusa and Ibla. It is about 30km to Modica, famous for its chocolate and bakery. Pozzallo with its large harbour and the hydrofoil to Malta is 25km away. Portopaio is a tourist resort by the sea. The lighthouse at Capo Passero and the Isola delle Correnti are six kilometres away, the Renna observatorium 15km, Avola by the sea and famous for its almonds 25km, Rosolini 18km, Catania with its airport, harbour, university and baroque buildings built of Etna lava is 100km away.
