Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The main advantage of the house is that you have it completely for yourself, so no sharing with other renters. And the house is rather big, with a large living room and three double bed rooms including three bathrooms. (But see below for more info.) There is also a roof terrace. Your rental car can be parked at the house, with a fence/gate to be closed. Plenty of plates/pans in the kitchen available. Also a dishwasher and a big fridge are available. Cooking works with an induction cooking plate. Hot water is OK. There is a large terrace including a hammock, on the north side of the house. Also a vacuum cleaner and ironing device and hair dryer are available. Upon arrival you won't see anyone, the key is in a box for which you receive the code a few days/weeks ahead of your stay.

Negative: There are three double beds (in three separate rooms). The matrasses are from OK to meh. But obviously this depends on your preferences. Now the showers in the bath rooms are modest, not really good. One had very poorly maintained cabin, the other one had a lousy shower, almost broken, and the third one we did not use because there was no cabin or curtain. This basically means that you can only use the bath tub in that bathroom (which was the only bath tub out of the three bathrooms). Please note that there are no muskito nets available, so you might bring your own (as we always do). Inside the house you can see that the maintenance needs attention. The frame of the front door was a bit loose what somehow looks silly. The biggest drawback was that four of the five different waste bins were completely full. The owner asks you via a note which is on the table upon your arrival to put certain bins along the street side for the wast collection service, but apparently this process does not work because the bins were (more than) full. We have not used or touched the bins therefore and have taken our wast on a daily basis with us and put it in public bins (with are very hard to find on Sardinia by the way). Please also note that on Sardinia there live plenty of wild boars (but who are not really threatening). These wild boars also discovered the house we lived in, as we experienced lively and could see because of the soil being ploughed increasingly. The boars also know how to pull a waste bin to de side in order to go through the waste. Pretty pittyfull all in all. Not really related to the house but keep in mind that the roads on Sardinia can be pretty bad, with a lot of put holes. Not all, but certainly the smaller roads/of the main roads. The driving speed limit is mainly 50 km/h, but since Sardinia is a part of Italy this limit is just a suggestion. Supermarkets are mainly small, do not expect full service of products, unless you go to the larger villages
