This light-filled, 1st-floor apartment is just 50m from the Adriatic coast. It can sleep 8 people and makes a fantastic base for a beach holiday on the stunning Salento peninsula.
The attic apartment has large, airy rooms which are furnished with contemporary pieces. The main living area (80m2) has 3 sofas, armchairs, a corner fireplace (not in use), and a flat-screen TV. The dining area is linked by a large, wooden arch. Both rooms have glass doors leading out to terraces. The separate kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and a small kitchen table.
There are two terraces. The front terrace, which has a sea view, is partially shaded, which allows for meals al fresco, at the dining table. The rear terrace, outside the kitchen, has a sink and an outdoor shower.

Location
The villa is in the heart of the small town of San Foca and is just 80 meters from the famous Marangi beach with fine golden sand and pristine sea. The town has many good restaurants and a busy marina.
The peaceful town of Melendugno (10 minutes) makes a lovely day out. There are some interesting churches, as well as a 12th-century abbey, a small castle and several excellent restaurants. The weekly market (Wednesday) is a source of the best local ingredients to cook at home.
Further afield is Lecce (30 minutes), the “Florence of the South”. It is blessed with wonderful Baroque architecture as well as Roman ruins. It is a jewel of a city and well worth a visit. Not only for its long history but also for its excellent food and good shopping.
To get into nature the WWF nature reserve of Le Cesine is just 2 minutes from the villa. Or for golfers, there are 2 golf clubs near the town of Acaya (15 minutes)
The closest airport is at Brindisi - just an hour away by car.
